Sitiveni Talei is a Fijian-Australian baritone. Winner of the prestigious Marianne Mathy Competition, he has performed with many of Australia’s state companies and orchestras, including West Australian Opera, West Australian Symphony Orchestra, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, State Opera of South Australia. Sitiveni was employed for ten years at Opera Australia, appearing in their chorus, minor and major supporting roles. 


Sitiveni’s operatic repertoire includes Amonaso, Aida; Zurga, Les Pecheurs des Perles; Sharpless, Madama Butterfly; Belcore, L’Elisir D’amore. His solo concert repertoire includes Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Requiem, Faure’s Requiem, Vaughan Williams's Five Mystical Songs, Bach’s St Matthew and St John Passions, and Haydn’s The Seasons.
